Damiano Binetti is a conductor and artistic director of the Silesian Theatre in Opava.

Born in Italy, Damiano originally trained as a singer in Italy and in the Czech Republic. In 1991 he traveled to Prague where he studied conducting at the AMU faculty. Since 1994, he has been the musical director of the prestigious Prague Madrigalists.

Damiano is a conductor with a great interest for early music both from the symphonic and opera repertoire.
